Based on an ideal surf spot for practicing and learning surfing, our crew welcomes you from the Easter to October holidays in our surf shack ideally situated just two minutes from the sea.
Since our opening in 2000, our surf school in Seignosse le Penon has changed a lot. We have expanded our offering of surf services to include both surf classes and surfboard and bike rentals as well as offering a wide choice of second hand softboards and wetsuits for sale.
We have a wide selection of bikes, perfect for exploring the many bike paths that cross the Landaise forest or on the endless beaches. The ESCF Seignosse le Penon crew will be happy to advise you on the right bike to choose for your needs.
Our partnership with Beach Bikes guarantees that your gear is always high quality.Le Penon is the area of Seignosse which is closest to the ocean at the base of the dunes. There are several beaches next to each other along the coast including the main Penon beach, a favorite with families and located near the shops. To the south lies la plage des Bourdaines and to the north is la plage des Casernes, favorites with surf and nature lovers.
ESCF Seignosse le Penon surf school is also a great place to relax and enjoy a cool drink or coffee. So stop by and say hi!

Here are the provisional schedules of the school, given as an indication.
We have 4 departures from mid-tide to low tide and vice versa. Generally, departures 2 (D2) and 3 (D3) are more suitable for children because they are closer to low tide.
We have slots more suitable for beginners and others for surfers who already have a sufficient level of surfing (perf). Some slots are reserved for groups (private).
Depending on the sandbank and the weather conditions, these schedules may be modified.
