More than a surf shop or surf school, we make every effort to provide you with sound technical advice and information about the best time to surf for your level. We are also happy to let you to try out our boards before potentially purchasing one.
The ESCF Messanges school is located in the peaceful village of Messanges. It is the ideal spot to surf on one of the wildest beaches on the southern Landes coast.
Our team who are also specialized in foil surfing will teach you how to surf safely while having fun.
We are open from Easter vacation to the October holiday, 7 days a week.

The surfboards are waiting for you on the beach in front of the waves. No more struggling over the dunes carrying your board.
Foil surfing will enable you to experience incredible speed sensations and to ride the waves like no other water sport.
In weak waves that are under a meter and of no interest for surfing, you will be jumping for joy when you discover the foil surfing session that awaits you.
Foil surfing will allow you to ride 2 or 3 waves without stopping. It offers connections between waves that were simply unimaginable before.
In the heart of Messanges, the Desert Point surf shop, established for many years, has become a must-visit. The shop, open from April to November, offers a wide assortment of technical equipment and surf wear to meet everyone’s needs.

Here are the provisional schedules of the school, given as an indication.
We have 4 departures from mid-tide to low tide and vice versa. Generally, departures 2 (D2) and 3 (D3) are more suitable for children because they are closer to low tide.
We have slots more suitable for beginners and others for surfers who already have a sufficient level of surfing (perf). Some slots are reserved for groups (private).
Depending on the sandbank and the weather conditions, these schedules may be modified.

We offer a complete range of classes and intensive courses from single sessions to intensive courses for beginners and experienced surfers including personalized surf coaching sessions.
Rates vary depending on the type and number of sessions you do, from 43 euros per session to 320 euros for an intensive 10 session course.
Beginners will learn how to gear up and handle their board, ride a foam surfboard, and know safety rules. More experienced surfers will perfect their takeoff and surf direction, and learn how to use different boards.
Yes, we rent all the surf equipment you need. Payment methods include credit card, cash holiday vouchers, and payment in four instalments with PayPal.

This is the best way to learn how to surf. You will get feedback about your progress throughout the week and once you have completed the classes you will be given a certificate.
You will be in a group of no more than eight people according to age and level.
The equipment, board and wetsuit are provided.
We have four class starting times from mid-tide to low tide and vice versa. Generally, starting times 2 and 3 are more suitable for children as the sessions are closer to low tide.
Whatever the option you choose, after your first surf session, you are free to change your choice or simply stop if you wish.
Sessions last one and a half hours
For kids aged six to eleven, the appropriate equipment is provided: a full wetsuit for children in both summer and winter.
Women are provided with women’s wetsuits.
To try surfing or perfect your surf skills without committing to a full week.
You will be in a group with a maximum of eight people according to age and level.
Boards and wetsuits are provided.

If you would like to have your own private instructor, choose the Surf Coaching option.
Thanks to your surf instructor’s personalized insights and tips, you will make progress faster and gain a deeper understanding of surf technique. You will also be able to share your victories and challenges with him or her.
Coaching is often recommended for more experienced surfers, but it is also an extremely enriching learning experience if you are just getting started and want some extra personal attention.
Boards and wetsuits are provided.
For children aged 6 to 11, the appropriate equipment is provided including a full wetsuit for kids in summer and winter.
We provide women with women’s wetsuits.
